So yesterday I had this young lady name Susan and I believe was her name she was helping me shop around the store pick out a good selection of product and kitchen pots pans and other things that I needed to buy to refresh my kitchen set up she was very insistent on oh we can just do everything curbside pick up for you and bring it downstairs so I didn’t really take time to look at the set that I was being offered because I was told that there was only one left. so I trusted them in good faith to do right by me and not provide me bad product or defective product or something that would cost me any sort of inconvenience. But us being the only minority color people in the store they were very quick to take things off my boyfriend’s hands and just put it up at the front desk counter. Fast-forward to me buyimg a 10 pieces ZWILLING set for my kitchen since I’m very familiar with the brand since I have it for a lot of my other stuff as well. I get home. I open it up and there’s a defective set on there. I immediately call a lady pick up. She knows exactly who I am. She said she will take out the single defective piece and then I just need to come downstairs curbside tomorrow and that they will swap it out no problem. Today I take time before going to work to call and let them know who I am that I’m picking up something and that it’s gonna have to get swapped out they outright refuse saying that that person left no notes that they need me to further come upstairs to do. The swap further inconveniencing me not providing me the good service that I know William Sonoma is known for definitely not a good experience dealing with this store for the first time I will stick to the Rochester Hills location, but I will be posting the pictures of your Defensive product so people can know to please double check your products before you leave the store because clearly they don’t check it for you and they just give you whatever they give you and then they’re not accountable for expecting you to be further inconvenienced and providing no customer service

Please do not buy from them. Even with your receipt you can not return/exchange or get in-store credit you have to keep it on an item if you try it AKA use it. Within 48 hours I tried one of the three expense items I purchased. I only wanted to exchange or get in-store credit on one of the three items and since I tried it/used it I can not get anything back. It is still in the same condition as when I purchased it. BAD Business policy! I do love the store but I do not like that they do not stand by there products.

Please stop with all the smells. Today was some kind of cider and i couldn't wait to get out of there. Does not encourage staying in the store.

Placed an order online to pickup and when I got home I realized they gave me an incorrect item. Fair warning double check your orders. Now have to return to exchange, hopefully all goes well.
Editing to 4 stars as when I returned to the store the folks I worked with were very helpful and searched in the back for the correct replacement.

Bought coffee machine for 700 dollars. Less than a month later it’s on sale on manufacturers website for 200 less. They refused to honor price difference. Don’t buy from here, buy direct from manufacturer

tom was very nice and helped me pick out a dutch oven for my sister, they helped me place the order in store which was nice bc the color was limited time, when the first one was delivered it wasn’t packaged properly so it was all scratched but the costumer service line was super helpful and able to get another one shipped before the color was gone and the second one came perfect
