Take Away Gourmet is an absolute gem in Saskatchewan's culinary scene! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by Amy, whose warmth and expertise truly elevated my experience. Her friendly demeanor and extensive knowledge made navigating the plethora of cheese options a breeze. I appreciated being able to sample various cheeses and having the option to choose different sizes to suit my needs. The selection is unparalleled, with an endless array of cheeses and delightful spreads. And let's not forget the fresh bagels straight from Montreal and the crusty baguettes – they were the perfect accompaniment to the cheeses. I cannot recommend Take Away Gourmet highly enough. If you're a cheese lover looking for an exceptional culinary experience, this is the place to be!

I don't know why they think they have great staff. Any time I've been in there, or my husband, all we get is attitude from the staff. It's a bummer. Coming from Montreal and having access to great cheese (and Montreal Bagels), would have been great. But I won't be going back any time soon. I'll be stocking up on cheese when I visit Saskatoon.

We had a very unpleasant experience at this shop. Upon entering the store 2 young girls sitting at the counter laughing hysterically and refusing to help or acknowledge us in any way. We were prepared to order a charcuterie board, however after 5 minutes of looking around the store nobody offered to help in any way.
Therefore, we left the store not a hello or a goodby or thank you from the staff. Will not go back.

The owner's brother was very accommodating and showed lots of enthusiasm and love for the store. He gave us lots of cheese samples to help us decide which one to get. They also sell scrumptious home made pies which reminds me of a coffee bakery place back home. And they sell never been frozen Bagels from Montreal.

Takeaway Gourmet is phenomenal with a HUGE selection of deliciousness ♥ I got married this summer and my fiance is a total cheese lover. As a surprise I wanted to have one of the tiers on our cake a layer of cheese and the owner made the dream come true! She brought in a huge block of 6 year aged white cheddar from Quebec (which was also awesome that she sourced within Canada) and formed the block of cheese into a round tier that fit PERFECTLY on our cake. My husband was so thrilled and said it was the best cheese he's ever eaten ♥ The cheese layer was the second from the top with the ribbon around it. THANK YOU!

Great selection of cheeses and wonderful staff. Having French origins, I appreciate that this is the only place in the city where many french cheeses can be found. Also full of wonderful breads, meats, patés, pickles and other international specialty foods that you will find nowhere else in the city. Of course, the prices are on par with similar specialty cheese shops in Saskatoon or across the prairies, but it remains well worth it.
