Great spot! I was looking for a coffee shop where I could study and this place was perfect. Lots of space to find a spot to work/study. Added bonus, the food was really good! Burger had pimento cheese, bacon, jam and pickles - it was spot on. The Caesar salad dressing was super light. Will definitely return in the future.

Love this place! They do a build your own breakfast sandwich. I get bacon, a fried egg, and cheese on a croissant. Probably my favorite breakfast sandwich in town. Drinks are also always good.
A lot of people like to sit and work, so seating can be limited. Parking is easy. There is a lot out front with free spots for those dining/shopping.

Really wonderful food and the breakfast is to die for . I liked the gravy. I haven’t tried the coffee . I didnt really enjoy that all the tables were taken by laptops and not a single dish of food . Just business meetings and loud talking . This place is so unique and wonderful. It would be sooooo much better to embrace the wonderful food and the atmosphere if maybe people didn’t have full blown meetings and take up the areas for locals to enjoy the amazing food and what the place has to offer. I definitely loved the food . I want to come back and maybe have a chair for my daughter to sit in and maybe a more comfortable environment not so office work vibe .

This little gem has a lovely upbeat atmosphere and so many tempting menu items that it’s overwhelming, especially in person.
- I ordered the Big Boss Breakfast. I wished it had come with biscuit & sausage gravy ? but that said, the biscuits were unexpectedly delicious and amazing on their own. The bacon was old school thick and amazing. The sausage wasn’t my thing but they were flavorful.
- Chai Latte: so good. They don’t carry skim (nonfat milk). Is this a Charleston thing The place I went to yesterday also didn’t carry it.
- Also, because apparently I’m a child (?) I ordered a huge glutinous freshly baked cookie to go to enjoy later at my AirBNB while watching Netflix alone.

Super cute spot! I’ve passed it a thousand times not realizing what it was. Parking is scarce. I heard it was a good coworking space, but I just popped in because I was nervous for my car. I ran in just for a bagel but it was such a pretty place, I’d love to return! Bagels are from rubys, they’re incredible. Great service too the barista was an angel

The Mercantile food and bakery are terrific. We got to sit at the bar overlooking the area where they make all the baked goods. They also have a meat section where you can purchase meats to take home. I would highly recommend this location for the food and casual vibe. The vanilla honey croissant was to die for and fish tacos were tremendous.
