Very clean and modern looking store. Very nice selection of bread, fresh produce, spices, etc. The prepared food looked very good although we did not try any. Reminds me of a smaller, Mediterranean Whole Foods.

We did get the saffron ice cream, which was very unique but ultimately not my cup of tea. I'm happy to have tried it though. I would say many items felt to me on the pricier side, but also many items are hard to find elsewhere so they could be worth paying a bit extra for.

Its a 5 stars Persian market in the area by far! Staff are so friendly, polite and kind. The prices are good. They bake fresh bread (taftoon) in house. Hopefully they start their Barbary as well! Love the new place. Their carry out food is also very delicious, fancy, clean and worth 5 stars!

Gourmet Bazar is one of the finest Persian stores in the DMV area that I have ever visited. The store is impeccably organized and clean, with a fresh produce section that offers reasonably priced vegetables. The condiment section is also excellent, with a wide variety of Persian spices available.

If you're looking for a Persian market to find something special from Iran, Gourmet Bazar is the place to be. They offer an extensive range of products that words cannot describe.

Their fresh Persian food section is particularly noteworthy, with a wide selection of Persian kababs, kookoos, and Ash reshte. I tried their Bandari sandwich to gauge their quality and taste, and it was absolutely delicious! I intend to explore other items from their menu.

Most of their products are priced reasonably when compared to other Persian stores. The only thing missing from their shelves is Minu Pofak! ?

This is so far the best Persian/middle eastern grocery store. You can find anything you want including traditional breads. They have also a rich menu of Persian food for catering/pick up coming in a nice packaging. The portion and prices of their foods are very fair. I think the grocery items are also cheaper than other similar stores in the area. I hope they keep up good work and high quality. The parking is also very easy but I do not think it is Wheelchair accessible. Highly recommended!

Lived in Rockville for 3y now. I am now ashamed to say that I have not been here before. We ordered take out at the counter - one gyro and one platter. For under $30 we had the cleanest flavored Mediterranean/Persian cuisine I have ever had. The packaging was spot on- think opening well-wrapped gifts. At a time when places are lowering their quality standards, this place has impeccable standards, customer service, and value. I’ll def be using them to cater my work events.

Thanks to Ms. Mona for her excellent management! The food is really outstanding! Every meal I’ve had was full of flavor and cooked to perfection! This comes from someone who doesn’t like to eat out often, but im there a few times a week. The service and welcome is even more outstanding! Keep it up!

We usually go to the store for international grocery items, but had never had takeout from them before. Today we tried their takeout and it was amazing. The quality and quantity of the Koobideh and stews are great, amazing value! They also really know what they’re doing and package the food professionally to minimize spillage. The entrees come with sides such as yogurt and pickles that elevate the food. They also have variety of Tahdig (crispy rice) options and are very generous with those 🙂 Overall I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
