I’d say the food was slightly better than good. The chicken was moist and the batter had a good crunch but really lacking flavor. The fries were hefty and had a good crunch but also lacking flavor…

Not much in the realm of service, it’s in a food hall and fast food style, you get the food and find your own seat. This is relevant for the atmosphere as well, not much of an atmosphere to talk about.

Parking was across the street in a structure, were ate and walked around and it only cost $1

Solid place for fried chicken tenders and sandwiches. All the chicken is deep fried, almost like a beer batter and super juicy. Homemade Japanese ranch was excellent. This is inside of a retail space with several other eateries. We parked in the underground parking near Erewhon. Similar to the Packing District in Anaheim but smaller scale.

All in all this place is great! Service was quick and our food was delicious. Everything was well spiced and the condiments for the chicken tenders were great. I should mention that the chicken tenders are also fairly sizable. Lastly, Citizens Public Market has a nice patio in the back and on the roof where you can enjoy your meal as well.

Seen here: pork gyoza and spicy chicken tenders

Ordered the Chicken Wings, Szechuan Seasoned Hand-Cut Fries, and Furikake Hand-Cut Fries. The Chicken wings and tenders are cooked similarly, delicious when hot and ready, very well seasoned. You can choose spicy or not spicy. The spicy is the way to go for some kick to the chicken. The pickles are a very light pickled cup of cucumbers, they're not as dilled as you might expect. The Japanese cheddar biscuit was a surprise, a tad sweet and somewhat unexpected, not a traditional plain biscuit. The Szechuan fries are not as hot as they seem, they feel quite tamed on the spice level. The Furikake fries are an easier choice to recommend if you like some of the nori flavor and saltiness taste to them. Both are delicious and great for sharing. Location is part of an open market space concept so it shares space with several different vendors offering unique tastes. This location does get busy so finding a place onsite to eat your food can become difficult. Parking is available at nearby public parking garage structures.

I just want to start out by saying the staff was great and handled a busy market very well. The chicken was delicious, just note the breading on the chicken is slightly thick but seasoned well and slightly spicy. I preferred the juicy tenders over the wings, personally. The Szechuan fries were fantastic, the seasoning, spiciness and crispy edges were crave-able. I loved the pickles which were more like a quick pickled cucumber with lots of sesame which added great flavor and freshness. I tried all of the sauces, you can’t go wrong with any of them in my opinion. I loved that Go Go Bird also has a station for additional sauces and pickled hot peppers. We will be back!

Inside the Citizen Public Market in Culver City, Go Go Bird offers a finger-licking experience that is bound to delight fried chicken enthusiasts and food lovers alike.
Our culinary adventure began with the star of the show: the Juicy Tenders. Each bite was a burst of succulent flavor, a testament to the careful preparation and quality ingredients. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, sealing in the juices, creating a heavenly contrast. Accompanying these delights were the Japanese Cheddar Biscuits, a delightful fusion of flavors that melted in the mouth. The addition of pickles provided a zesty, crunchy element that balanced the richness of the chicken and biscuits beautifully.
The Seasoned Hand-Cut Fries were Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, they were seasoned to perfection, adding a savory crunch to our meal. The attention to detail in each golden fry was evident, making them a delightful side to the main course.
What truly stood out at Go Go Bird was the commitment to quality. The tenders were not just another fast-food rendition; they were crafted with care and precision. The flavors were bold yet balanced, showcasing the expertise of the kitchen. The cozy, communal atmosphere of Citizen Public Market added to the overall experience, creating a lively backdrop for our culinary escapade.

I really love Go Go bird. They have some really phenomenal chicken sandwiches. I love the style that they fry their chicken in. I would highly recommend checking it out if you've never been. There's a few other places in this food court but Go Go Bird is a must. I will definitely be coming back

A soaring experience that left me happy and delighted. The star of the show: the food. With a focus on, you guessed it, chicken, I opted to get the chicken tenders with japanese cheddar biscuit & pickles, and the chicken gyoza. Oh my feathers, everything surpassed what I expected and then some. The tenders boasted a golden coating encasing tender, juicy chicken and the accompanying japanese cheddar biscuit was a biscuit masterpiece that added an extra layer of savory goodness to the already tasty dish. The chicken dumplings where the right mix of a seared exterior and a juicy, flavorful filling. It is all made to order so the ingredients are fresh, and the dishes are served warm. Gather your flock and fly on over to this spot for a fried chicken experience you won't soon forget.
